As a deep cleanser, clay removes excess oil and dirt accumulated on the skin and in the pores from deep within the epidermis, thanks to its absorbent properties. As a nourishing agent, it is important for the maintenance of healthy skin. It is effective as a cleanser and tightener and removes dead cells from the skin with its exfoliating properties. It is a scientifically proven antiseptic active against various microorganisms. Clay minerals are known to be used not only for beauty and cleansing but also for skin diseases; it has been determined to be beneficial for cellulite, diaper rash, and various skin wounds.
