Daily SPF use year-round is the single most effective step to prevent premature aging, hyperpigmentation, and long-term skin damage.

What Does SPF Value Mean?

The SPF (Sun Protection Factor) value indicates the level of protection a sunscreen provides against UVB rays. SPF 50 extends the time it takes for the sun to cause redness on unprotected skin by 50 times. SPF 30-50 is recommended for daily city life and office environments, while SPF 50+ is advised for sea, mountain, and prolonged outdoor activities. UVA protection is more critical against aging and hyperpigmentation; a PA++++ or "broad spectrum" label indicates strong UVA protection. Blue Light Protection: Special Formulas for Screen Users

Some formulas in the Dermokil sun protection series contain blue light (HEV) active ingredients in addition to UVA/UVB protectors. High-energy visible light (HEV / blue light) emitted from computer, tablet, and phone screens can lead to oxidative stress in skin cells and trigger pigmentation. Sun Cream Multi-Purpose High Protection SPF 50+ 75 ml: A water-based, allantoin-containing soothing daily sunscreen. Suitable for sensitive and redness-prone skin. Its economical 75 ml size is suitable for both face and body use.

Power Tone-Up Tone-Evening SPF 50+ Face Cream 50 ml: A calamine-containing tone-evening facial sunscreen. Calamine cools the skin, reduces the appearance of redness, and supports oil balance. Specially developed for oily and acne-prone skin.

Daily Care Sun Stick SPF 50+ 20 gr (Ceramide): A ceramide-containing stick sunscreen. Ceramides strengthen the skin barrier, prevent moisture loss, and protect the skin against external factors. Its touchless, hygienic, and practical stick format makes it the most suitable option for daily use.

Vitamin C Anti-Spot Sun Stick SPF 50+ 20 gr: A stick formula fortified with vitamin C and anti-spot actives. Provides sun protection while offering a brightening and antioxidant effect. Active care integrated into the sunscreen for those with spot concerns, instead of a separate serum.

Tone Up Glowy Sun Stick SPF 50+ 20 gr: A tone-evening, radiant-finish stick containing calamine and tsubaki oil. Gives the skin a natural glow and evens out skin tone. Ideal for those who want a well-groomed, natural look without makeup.

Bronze Shimmer Face&Body Stick SPF 30 20 gr: A bronzing stick with tsubaki oil and shimmer. Can be used for both face and body; gives the skin a natural bronze glow. Offers elegance and protection in one for beach, pool, and outdoor activities.

Sun Spray SPF 50+ 200 ml: A broad-area spray formula for face and body. Ideal for ease of application and quick absorption. With aloe vera content, it moisturizes and soothes the skin. A practical option for hard-to-reach areas like the back.

SPF 50+++ Kids Sun Spray 200 ml: A high-protection formula specially for children's sensitive skin. Its gentle, aloe vera-containing formula does not cause irritation. The spray form allows for easy and quick application on children. It is recommended to reapply every 2 hours and after swimming.

Bronzing Sun Oil 200 ml: A bronzing sun oil containing vitamin E and carrot oil. Supports the tanning process while nourishing and moisturizing the skin. A complementary product for the sunbathing ritual.

After Sun Gel 100 ml: A gel formula that cools and soothes the skin after sun exposure. Allantoin content relieves redness and irritation after sun, supporting the skin's regeneration process. Can be applied in the evening instead of daily moisturizer for skin exposed to intense sun.

Sunscreen Selection by Skin Type

Oily and combination skin: Fluid formulas or stick sunscreens are ideal due to their lightweight, non-pore-clogging texture. Tone-up and calamine-containing formulas support sebum balance.

Dry and sensitive skin: Ceramide-containing Daily Care Sun Stick or allantoin-containing Sun Cream should be preferred for their gentle and soothing formulas.

Skin with hyperpigmentation issues: Anti-spot fluid cream, anti-spot SPF 50+ cream, or vitamin C-containing anti-spot stick should be used as the last step of the morning skincare routine.

Daily practical use: Stick formulas are portable in a bag, can be applied over makeup, and are ideal for reapplication every 2 hours.

Correct Sunscreen Use

Sunscreen should be applied 15-20 minutes before sun exposure. Approximately 1/4 teaspoon (1.5-2 ml) is sufficient for the face; insufficient application reduces the SPF value. It is recommended to reapply every 2 hours and after swimming or intense sweating. In the morning skincare routine, sunscreen is applied as the last step after serum and moisturizer. Year-round use is recommended, even on cloudy days.
