Face Mask Formats and Their Differences

Clay Mask: Dermokil's broadest and most potent category. Different types of clay, such as pink clay, white clay, green clay, red clay, and black clay, are enriched with active ingredients like matcha extract, kojic acid, tea tree oil, coffee extract, hemp seed oil, and rice extract. They purify by absorbing excess oil and impurities from pores, balance sebum, and tighten the appearance of pores. They are an essential weekly care product for oily, combination, and acne-prone skin. Apply a thin layer to clean skin, wait 10-15 minutes, and rinse with lukewarm water.

Sheet Mask: Single-use special fabric formulas saturated with serum. Thanks to a cut that conforms to facial contours, they deliver active ingredients to the skin with full contact for 15-20 minutes. Available in different ingredient themes such as Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid (brightening + moisturizing), bakuchiol and peptide complex (anti-aging repair), tea tree oil (anti-acne purification), collagen serum, caffeine, and pearl extract. Ideal for those seeking quick results and practical use.

Gel Mask: With its cool and refreshing gel-like texture, it is the gentlest masked care option for sensitive, dry, and tired skin. Formulas containing aloe vera, rose extract, pumpkin, and cucumber soothe the skin, help moisturize, and reduce the appearance of uneven skin tone. Apply for 3-7 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.

Peel-Off Mask: The peel-off formula, which is removed by peeling it off when dry, physically removes surface impurities and dead skin cells. Offering options with black clay, hologram, gold, and caviar extract, peel-off masks provide both effective pore cleansing and a special application experience.

Stick Mask: A practical format for contactless and hygienic application. The stick formula, applied directly to the face, delivers active ingredients to the skin without contamination. Offered in four ingredient themes: tea tree anti-acne detox, collagen moisturizing, rice yeast brightening, and a general clay formula. Ideal for travel and daily use.

Hydrogel Patch: A special format intensive care band for the under-eye and lip areas. Under-eye patches with caffeine and hyaluronic acid help reduce puffiness and dark circles, while lip patches provide plumping hydration.

Mask Selection According to Skin Problem

Acne and pimples: Tea tree oil clay mask, matcha extract clay mask, or red clay mask. Balances acne bacteria in pores and cleanses sebum buildup.

Blackheads and clogged pores: Matcha extract clay mask, tea tree clay mask, or peel-off black clay mask. Cleanses the inside of pores through physical and chemical means.

Spots and uneven tone: Kojic acid clay mask, Vitamin C sheet mask, or rice extract clay/sheet masks. Balances melanin production, reducing the appearance of dark spots.

Moisture deficiency and dry skin: Hyaluronic acid sheet mask, collagen serum sheet mask, or hemp seed oil clay mask. Restores the skin's moisture balance.

Anti-aging: Bakuchiol and peptide sheet mask, collagen sheet mask, or anti-wrinkle clay mask. Supports skin elasticity and reduces the appearance of fine lines.

Brightening and vitality: Pearl sheet mask, Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid sheet mask, or honey sheet mask. Adds radiance to dull and tired skin.

Mask Application Frequency and Correct Use

Clay and peel-off masks can be used 1-3 times a week, while sheet and gel masks can be used more frequently as needed. Masks should be applied to clean skin, avoiding the eye and lip areas. Using a moisturizer after application is recommended to maintain moisture balance, especially with purifying masks. For sensitive skin, it is advisable to keep the mask on for a shorter duration (5-7 minutes) during the first use.
